Keep Green Bay a safe and affordable place to raise a family
District 10's Voice on City Issues
Being a resident of this district for 15 years, as a father, husband and homeowner, I want to make sure that it continues to be a safe and affordable place to live and raise a family. I will bring a fresh perspective to solve the issues that face our city, and I will work to make sure that our district receives the attention it deserves. From how resources are dedicated to law enforcement and rescue services, to attracting new business to our Westside business corridor, our district will play a vital role in how Green Bay will progress as a city. I want to make sure that you have a voice and a seat at the table as future developments are planned. I hope you will participate in the April 2nd election and choose me to be YOUR voice at City Hall.

Jeff Osborne
I will encourage proactive policing and more social engagement between the community and law enforcement to bridge gaps between officers and citizens. Being able to have regular open engagement with officers that patrol your neighborhood will result in better communication and understanding. I fully support dedicating the resources needed to keep our neighborhoods safe and look forward to input from community members and law enforcement leaders to keep Green Bay safe.
Bringing people together from all backgrounds and viewpoints to help express ideas on how to address issues on both a district and city scale is a vital part of having good representation within our district. As part of a push to get all areas of the district to bring back some of the defunct associations I will actively look to recruit people that will take on this challenge. Dedicating time to provide updates on current and upcoming council agenda items are one of the ways I want to help keep you informed.
For Green Bay to continue to be a strong, vibrant, growing city a plan for increasing emergency response services is a must. Strategizing where the next generation of recruits for essential safety services come from needs to start now. With a decline in training enrollment numbers around the country, Green Bay needs to have a robust program in place to attract new recruits and fill upcoming positions. Partnering with local schools and increasing civic engagement with these types of professions through city and neighborhood meetings are a few ways that I believe we can get started.
Whether it’s roadways, bridges or pedestrian trails, funding still needs to be in place to build and maintain these items. Finding a viable path forward, whether it’s aligning the wheel tax with projected costs or an entirely different approach, projecting a new path forward will need to be done. Knowing that these types of challenges are on the horizon I want to be a strong taxpayer advocate for our district’s engagement in these discussions.
